Friday, October 24th, is Presidential Election Day. The school will be used as the local polling station, which necessitates closure for the day.
Our Halloween break will run from Monday, 27th October to Friday, 31st October.
We will finish the first half-term in style with a Fancy Dress-Up Day which will be Thursday, October 23rd – a fun way for pupils and staff to get into the Halloween spirit before the holidays.
An "OIDE Professional Learning Day" is an event organized by Oide (the Oide organisation) for teachers and school leaders to provide training, share resources, and foster collaboration on specific educational topics.
To facilitate involvement of staff, the school will close on this date.
Exciting New School Extension Underway
We are delighted to share that work has begun on our brand-new two-storey school extension. This exciting project will enhance our facilities and provide even more opportunities for teaching and learning.
On the ground floor, the development will include a specially designed autism classroom with an adjoining outdoor space, creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for our pupils.
The first floor will feature an additional classroom and a new Special Education Teaching (SET) room, providing much-needed space to meet the needs of all learners.
During the construction period, the school hall will be out of use. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility as we make temporary arrangements to ensure activities and events can continue wherever possible.
These are exciting times for our school community, and we thank you for your patience and understanding if the school surroundings look a little different while construction is underway—great things are coming!
